Last week I finally gave in and did what every pregnant women is soooo excited to do have a maternity shoot!  Sophie my wonderful sister-in-law and fellow photographer was not going to let me get away with not doing it and even made me a cute gift card for Christmas making the shoot, much to my anxiety official!   We ended up going for a classic Santa Barbara style shoot as we are both from there and love the old Spanish days feel (although I admit I look a bit more Asian with that hat then Spanish).  To spice up the shoot with out making it to cheesy, I brought this fun hand made banner sign that my dear friend Cassie Coop made for Malachi that I am obsessed with wich is made out of 100% repurposed fabrics.  Thanks Cassie for adding to the ambiance and theme!  On a personal note it is honestly strange to be on the other side of the camera but I really liked it as it always helps me better empathize with my clients as being photographed is always semi awkward and also can be exhausting, especially being that I am 8.5 months Prego!!!  Thanks Sophie for bearing with me through my silliness and for the sweet photos of me and Malachi that we will treasure forever!  Enjoy.
